Home Leave 2012 - Olympic Peninsula

What A View!

Disney Cruise Ship
We returned to Washington after our stay in Victoria via the Black Ball Ferry.  During our ride across the Strait of Juan de Fuca, we happened to see the Disney Cruise Ship making its way to Victoria.  I had never seen one of the ships before and thought that it was pretty impressive.

On drive up to Hurricane Ridge
We spent the rest of our time in the Pacific Northwest on the peninsula.  We drove to Hurricane Ridge near Port Angeles, Washington.  It was a beautiful drive and we saw some spectacular views!  We saw many chipmunks and many more deer.  The deer were all over the place.  So, we took the opportunity to snap a few pictures of them since they were being so photogenic!

Hurricane Ridge
We spent the next few days at a house near Shelton, Washington.  It was located on Hammersley Inlet. We enjoyed our time here although most of us were sick.  It was nice to have the time to lay back and get better before we started our journey back to the Kingdom.
