A lot of time has passed since the trip.  It is about time that I get some posts up about what we did.  I decided to put together a plethora of pictures to show what we did than write.

Dinner with Michael Nielsen at Tucano's.  He was an elder in the Brisbane mission when we lived in Australia.  It was great to see him again.

Unfortunately, as we came out of American Fork Canyon, the Aspen Grove fire was just beginning.  They closed the loop soon after.  We were fortunate to be able to drive through the loop when we did.  The drive was closed shortly after we exited.

We spent the 4th of July at Kenny and Renae's house in West Valley City.  We celebrated both Dallin and James' birthdays there.  Dallin was very excited to have an Avengers themed birthday.

The boys bought lots of fireworks to set off that night.  There were so many people around us lighting ariels.  We had a 360 degree view of color!

We also caught up with Matt Evans and his wife Maria.  It was fun to meet Maria for the first time.
